I am finally upgrading to HD DVR's, and I have three 5040 RTV to pass along. (sniff sniff...I loved RTV)
I upgraded the hard drive in one of the lifetime units to 160gb about 2 years ago. a few weeks ago it started making that "I'm gonna die" noise with a constant fan, then nothing at all... I really don't feel like troubleshooting (I have a thread on AVSforum with suggestions on the cause of the problem)
One lifetime unit, 40 or 60gb I think? works perfectly. light use the last 5 years, probably less than 100 hours.
One lifetime unit, 160gb, acting like maybe it needs new hard drive? (don't know for sure this is the problem though, but don't feel like troubleshooting)
one subscription unit purchased a couple of years ago, used less than 20 hours, works perfectly.
all come with the factory remotes. I think I have all the boxes as well.
I'll sell all of them for a package price of $150 plus shipping costs. ($40 total)
If you just want one, I'll sell the lifetime unit that is working perfectly for $75, the "broken" lifetime unit for $50, and the subscription unit that works perfectly for $50. (plus $20/box shipping).
I hope someone can use these babies, they have been well cared for and have served me very well...
