interested and serious

I'm seriously interested. It's a good price on a good sub, from what I can tell.

A few questions:
1) Does it come with the manual?
2) May I ask why you're selling it? (If you'd rather not answer this, no big deal; I understand.)
3) Any idea how I could find out a shipping estimate to Albany, NY (12205)?
4) What payment methods do you accept?
5) Any way to put a reserve on it?

I'm pretty new to this forum (just signed up now - this is my first post, although I have been reading if for a month or so). Please forgive if I ask obvious questions, or commit an (unintentional) faux pas.

I look forward to hearing back, and hopefully buying this sub from you!

About 40 days old and in perfect condition. Still have all original packaging materials. Charcoal black. Looking to get $420 plus actual shipping costs.
Next in line please. WRU located?

I'll take it! (if it's still available...)

I don't appear to be able to reply to PMs with a post count of less than 5. Since it's 1 (now 2, yay!!!), I'm going to have to post in response.

I'd like to buy it, and can arrange for payment for $492 via PayPal as soon as we can work out the details.

Thank you; I look forward to hearing back from you. :D

5 posts! Time to go PM about a subwoofer. I hope that it's as good as everyone seems to say SVS's are!

The room's about 15x20, so it should be fine. I am so looking forward to it! I got started with a hand-me-down (i.e. free) Sound Design Thunder Series THS-3000. It can be loud, but I don't think it gets that deep and probably not very crisp either. The other half of the hand-me-down was a pair of Nuance speakers, and I replaced those after doing the background research. Quite and interesting story on that company... Can't complain, though. The price was right, and I had to buy a receiver to drive them. Fortunately, I had a friend who convinced me to spend a few bucks for something that I could build off of (Marantz SR 4001). It's been a heck of a lot of fun building up the system over the past month!

Thank you to Audioholids magazine, especially the forum and all of its members for giving me a solid place to do research, and eventually to buy the sub. :)

Why are you selling it? Wish I had known about this, I just got a PB10-NSD, but I think the 12 would have been a bit too big, also probably wouldn't fit in my car.

Just putting the finances elsewhere for now. It could fit in your backseat out of the box.

It could if I had a 4 door... but I just got a PB10. Good luck with the sale, it should sell quickly at that price.

Arrrrg, I missed it again!

I stop looking at the forums for 3-4 days and I miss three different sales of the sub that I want. Curses!!!! Please let me know if this doesn't go through. Otherwise I will continue my search....

Got it!

Just got it - YAY!!!!! This is going to be more than enough sub for me, at least as long as I want to get along with my neighbors.

Thanks again, EJ1, and to the Audioholics classifieds forum for the opportunity to buy this sub.

How do you ship such a big subwoofer?

How do you ship such a big subwoofer? I am thinking of selling my SVS PB-10. I think it may be too heavy for fedex or UPS?

didn't the PB10 arrive to you via UPS or FEDEX? (to answer your question, they ship via UPS, the PB10 is only 75lbs., it's no problem)

also, as a pre-emptive reminder:

we do not allow post padding so you can sell in the classifieds. the classifieds section of Audioholics is reserved for regular members.

I shipped via UPS and it was about $75, given the proper weight, dimensions, and insurance.
