Fs: Svs 20-39cs+

Hello,

I have an SVS 20-39CS+ passive sub for sale. I can not use it as I have found I need to have the sub in the front of my room to avoid bass issues and the SVS is too tall to be put in the front of the room (my screen is only 29" off the floor and the sub stands ~39" tall). I have sold one of these on this AV123.com before and can provide you with a reference as well as others from Audioholics, audiogon, ebay etc.

I am asking $425 + shipping for the sub. Shipping will be $35 via FedEx and will include insurance. Understand you WILL need external amplification for this passive sub. The sub is in excellent condition and looks and works like it did the day I got it from SVS.

In case you'd like to keep it, Doug, I've seen a few people that have used the cylinders lying down instead of upright and it still gives great response.

I tried this, but there is not enough room in the front of my room to lay it sideways (---) and if I lay it so it points towards me (|) it protrudes to far out into the room. I do miss the lowest of the lows it can provide as the Outlaw LFM-1 does not get as low, but if I don't sell this, my wife is going to put a hold on me buying anything else for my HT. She thinks I have too much equipment lying around. ANd I've got some things I really want to buy !

Just trim off 8 or so inches...

...by swapping me subs!!! Haha no I'm just joking around but I'm surprised you havent gotten rid of that thing yet. That's not a bad price for that especially with all the hype SVS gets on here and avs and elsewhere. Oh well maybe you can try getting another driver and cutting it in half Maybe just steal the driver out and bulid a DIY, or bore a hole in your floor and mount it coming up through the basement so that it fits! The possibilities are endless!

Thanks! You're probably right. Ebay'ers have a way of getting carried away, so it will probably go higher. One of these days, I'm sure I'll get burned on ebay and something will sell really cheap. I just keep hoping...not on this one please. So far, so good.
