These are immaculate. I have inspected them for scratches or blemishes under good light and could not find anything. The grills have no signs of abrasion/wear on corners (or elsewhere) or of pulls, piling, etc.
As usual, the camera's flash has shown some dust/fingerprints which are not normally visible. I have gone back and those spots are now cleaned up.
I'm selling because I upgraded to S2's.
Excellent sound for the cost.
Cherry.
This is version 2 which have the Beryllium tweeters and the phase plug.

Asking $1000 shipped with original box and manual.

Just ask, if you have questions or want other pictures.
Thanks!

I've never heard Sig's but understand they sound REALLY GOOD.
I have heard 20's. Could you do a little comparison for us? - Thanks

The Signature series speakers most importantly have much better cabinets. The reduction of cabinet resonance helps keep the speakers true to the original signal. The drivers and cross-over are of higher quality as well. The Studio 20s are astoundingly accurate for their price tag, the Signature S1s are more accurate. The S1s have less low end performance than the 20s and the bass is not bloated either (the 20s can be a little belowy), but still enough for a small hi-fi rig (a subwoofer is recommended though, or a pair of subs:D). The reduction in bass response would most likely attribute the less internal volume, smaller mid-bass and the lack of a reflex port. The S1s are viewed by many to be the best of the Signature series because their very small rigid, yet heavy cabinets are virtually resonance free. They can still take plenty of power and produce a nice open soundstage despite their small size.

The Sig line, starting with v2 and with the exception of one of the S1s is also know for the Be Tweeters. (there's an S1 with Be tweets, and one without)

Seth and Jerry give good information. This is the Beryllium tweeter.

For my ear, the Beryllium tweeter affords extreme high frequency extension in a very open and clear manner. This is most easily observed on sounds like cymbals and chimes. For me this was pretty important. However, I have a friend who doesn't think the difference in the treble between the Beryllium and the aluminum tweeter is that significant.

As Seth indicates, if you plan to pair the speakers with a sub, I think the S1 offers better SQ. The rigid ribbed aluminum cabinet is very much free of coloration and allows for a larger mid-woofer to be used than you would expect in such a small case. The sealed cabinet design gives it is very smooth roll-off. The S1 is less efficient than the Studio20 (84dB for the S1 vs 87dB for the Studio20).

Among the speakers I have heard, and as a stand alone (no sub), I think the Studio20's offer a great balance across the board for a speaker of their size and cost.

Both are built like tanks and seemed comfortable playing as loudly as I can stand in my Living Room.
Hope this helps.
