The cabinet is constructed from high-density fibreboard to minimise resonance and improve rigidity. Three drivers form a two-way bass reflex design with rear port. The layout comprises two coupled 165mm bass/mid units and a 25mm polyamide tweeter. A fourth-order crossover (at 1.8kHz) combines their output.
The bass units feature a high-pressure diecast aluminium chassis and semi 'see-through' polypropylene cones. The tweeter uses an aluminium former with ferrofluid cooling - features that aid power handling.
The electrical specification is high-end too. Paradigm quotes a frequency response from 70Hz-20kHz within a tight +/-2dB margin and an amplifier power range from 15-175W
