In my quest to check out different Panasonic 5 disc changers, I bought this F87. It's ok, but I don't need it. Unit is in brand new shape. I hardly used it.
Silver Panasonic F87 5 disc progressive dvd-audio/video changer for sale. I bought this and its great but I don't really need it and now I am getting low on cash. Need cash more than extra toys. New they are $199 + taxes at the future shop. Comes with unit, box and remote. Manual can be downloaded. Unit practically new and works perfectly.
Plays dvd's, CD's, CDR and CDRW, MP3's and DVD Audio discs. Has Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II decoders built in. Also plays HDCD's too.

The F87 has Dolby Pro Logic II which is a nice feature that makes regular dolby surround dvd's sound better. Some dvd's are not Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, and are just Dolby Surround. DPL II makes the surround sound more like 5.1.
The F87 also plays HDCD's which are CD's that can be played on any CD/DVD player but when played on a DVD/CD player which is specifically compatable with HDCD, they are decoded at the full 24 bit resolution (vs standard old CD of 16 bit) and it apparantly sounds better.
Check out the specs etc. Its a good player, but I cannot justify it vs my older F85, so I will keep my older player instead.
