For Sale: Monitor Audio BR2 in Cherry Finish

Description: This is a mint pair of MA BR2 speakers in a Cherry finish. They are beautiful speakers(and beautiful sounding) and are in perfect condition. They have maybe 5 hours on them, if that. I started to build a speaker system to compliment my headphones, but an unexpected bill showed up(new car ), so the speaker system needs to go. I already sold the reciever.

Not to sound totally rude, but if you would like to unload them more quickly, I would lower the price. They are, and have been for a very long time, available as new A stock for $279.

It's fine, jostenmeat, thanks for the heads up. In my research a couple months ago and my quick search now, I don't see any place that sells them for $279. I know Saturday Audio Exchange offers the B2 for $279 though, but I'm not sure what, if any, the difference are.

That's the place. They used to offer them in a couple of different finishes, but Im not sure if that is still the case. They charge $25 for a pair of bookshelves from Chicago to California. So, $304 shipped, I believe.

What are you replacing them with?

Nothing sadly. For the time being I am sticking with my headphone setup. Although I'll probably end up with a WAF-1 or Panache-1 depending on when TweakCityAudio releases them. Seems like great desktop speakers.

That being said, whether they are identical (which I doubt), I think that's quite a fair deal!

Believe it or not, the thought did occur to me. But, I have absolutely no use for them.

I guess Suds can bump up the price again. But, in all honesty, I still might go for the B1 A-stock than the used BR2 at the same price. Hard to say.

Well, I doubt that I will ever criticize a price in the classifieds again.

I've been keeping my upgraditis in temporary remission, somehow, amazingly. But, I think I'll finally get a matching center tomorrow since the dam is starting to bust.

And maybe order round 2 of some treatments. I still have scotch tape everywhere marking reflecion points. LOL. I even have different color sample that I've matched with ceilings vs walls.
