I have a pair of RF83 bought new by me from a local dealer Sept 30th 2006. They are furniture grade wood veneer finnished in Cherry. Condition is as new /mint.
I am upgrading to Heritage series. Sound is as to be expected from a top of the line Klipsch. These are huge speakers ,50" tall and 20" deep and weigh 100lbs each. They are super efficient (100 db)and therefore can be powered by almost any Receiver or amp combination. These speakers have massive dynamic range and are fantastic for critical listening and explosive realistic movie soundtracks alike.
Local pickup only in Kitchener/Waterloo, On, Canada because of size/weight.
