The Lexicon CP-2 Digital Audio Surround Processor uses proprietary all digital signal processing to offer extremely accurate Dolby Pro Logic decoding for Dolby Surround encoded films, and Lexicon's own decoding circuitry for monaural film soundtracks.
For films encoded in Dolby Stereo, the CP-2 incorporates a completely digital Dolby Pro Logic Surround decoder, with Auto AzirnuthTM - automatic correction of azimuth and channel balance errors. The CP-2 also provides a program for playing music through a Surround speaker set-up (Music Logic), and a program for enhancing monaural film sound tracks (MonoLogic).
