I bought this sub about 2.5 years ago from Robert's Auto Sounds in Louisville when I lived there for a short time. I powered it with about 800w rms (set the gains for this). Recently went IB and am looking to start a new project car so I thought I'd throw this up on here to see if I could get something reasonable out of it. If not, I'll hang on to it for home theater use.
I'm asking $400+shipping OBO. Again, it's an authorized purchase so if something were to happen you'll be covered, rather than getting the cold shoulder from JL. This does actually come in handy... for example when your amp dies and they send you a new one no questions asked.
The condition is about an 8/10. These pictures really bring out the worst of it and part of me wanted to just leave them out because they give the wrong impression. However, to be honest I"m posting them and hoping those who have sold used items understand how a camera flash can be your worst enemy.
The only real physical issue is the scratch on the cone. One picture makes it look a lot worse than it is, so the close up is to show it's not bad.
