So i have decided to take the plunge and redo my system.

I have a well maintained Denon AVR-2805 in silver. Unit was purchased new from authorized Denon dealer approximately 2.5 years ago. Perfect cosmetic condition with beautiful silver aluminum finish.

I have all the original material: Box, remote, papers, etc. I even have rs232 codes, and IR codes, taken from old denon website.

Unit has operated flawlessly. Always kept in well ventilated area and never pushed hard. One nice feature that it had (besides the many others) was the A/B Front speaker, which i used for outdoor speakers, and a detachable powercord which made connecting easier for me with custom power cord.

I have watched several ebay auctions on this model (ones in worse shape too) and i think a fair price would be $400 plus shipping. I originally paid close to $900. I only hope it finds a good home.

If you require more information please send me a PM.

Nice pics. Did you wax the thing? :D

My last receiver was the 2805, but I dumped it because I needed HDMI. Great receiver though.

Bump to ask you what you're replacing it with. I have a 3805 and am pretty happy with it. Very fair price, though.

Tempting!:D But I'm pretty well covered with my current bedroom rig: NAD C320BEE fed by a Stereo-Link USB DAC driving Monitor Audio Gold Ref 10's. If I replace the NAD it'll be with an Onix Melody SP3 (like I used to have and foolishly sold!) or a Jolida integrated.
