I have a full 5.2 system of Bag End monitors and subs for sale. All units are new, in original boxes and never used.
Five (5) Bag End MM-8H monitors
Two (2) Bag End Infrasub I-18 Pro subs
I appreciate that Bag End makes pro equipment and is not a name well known in HT circles. There are several reviews listed below that should be helpful. If you are really interested, you can call the manufacturer and talk to someone there (I did before I bought them). In a discussion, the owner of Bag End said that Eric Clapton uses the MM-8 monitors in his home recording studio.
Under very favorable circumstances, I bought two full Bag End setups for two planned home theaters. In our family room I have a 5.1 system using the MM-8Hs and a single I-12 sub. Off a Yammie AVR this system rocks, so much so that I had to stay with the 12" sub or risk spousal disapproval.
The units being offered were intended for a second installation in a dedicated theater in our house. For reasons not worth discussing, that space was retasked for something else and I now want to sell these speakers.
I offer these as a complete set for someone installing a new HT or looking to upgrade and existing system. I also have a pair of lightly used MM-6 monitors if someone is interested in a complete 7.2 system.
I will offer these at a large discount to the "retail" prices you can find online. If you are interested, either respond or send me a PM for greater details.
Not looking to be vague on pricing but shipping is a key element to a buyer's total cost. I live in Fairfield County Connecticut if someone is interested in a demo or pick up. I can have delivered by truck within the tri-state area. Elsewhere will require a discussion.
Thanks.
Tom
