FS: Cherry Energy RC-10 - good condition
Well, I snagged some used ACI Emerald XL's, so I am yet again changing my bedroom setup. The Emeralds are going to replace the Energy RC setup I'm currently using, so the RC-10's need to find a new home.
I'm the 2nd owner...I bought them used in Feb. In all, they're about 2 years old. They're in good shape...I'd rate them 7/10 on the audiogon scale. There are some surface scratches/scuffs (no gouges into the veneer) on the bottom of one speaker. These do show up in lighting, but as I said they're on the bottom so unless you wall mount these, you'll never see them.
On the other the bottom edge is roughed a little, like the MDF was dinged, but the veneer is not cracked. This blemish is pretty minor, and while I tried to get a photo, it doesn't show up well.
There are also a couple small, light scratches on the plastic mountings around the tweeters...see pics. Very minor, and only visible up close within a couple feet. Other than that, the speakers/veneers are in great shape.
The speakers work flawlessly....no functional problems whatsoever. I have the original packaging, port plugs, grills, manual.
