FS: Cherry ELT525M in almost new condition

Hey guys,

I bought 2 pairs of Cherry ELT monitors a couple weeks ago to use in a 3.1 bedroom setup. I think I'm going to stick with the Energy speakers I have in the bedroom, and use one of the pairs of ELTs for PC 2.1 (provided I can ever sell my ELT525T).

Anyway, for now I'm just getting rid of 1 pair of ELT525M. These are in almost new condition - no flaw or blemishes. They haven't even been used a whole lot over the last couple weeks. I have all original packaging, manual, grills.

I can still return these to av123, but I figured I'd see if anyone here has an interest first. I'm asking $160, shipping and paypal fee included.

I will try to snap a couple pics in the next day or 2.

Just read Cherry, haha. Also, how do they sound? Is the bass decent or would it need a sub in a small room for home theater? Thanks

These are actually sold. I may sell the 2nd pair, but I'm not sure on that yet. I like these speakers....it really just depends what I do with some of the other gear I have...

As far as sound...I think they're nice speakers. I'd say they're a little warm through the mid-range, but overall are pretty well balanced and easy to listen to.

They really do need a sub...they're just too small to produce real bass. Crossed over @ 80Hz with a sub, they work very well.

2nd pair for sale!

Well, I bought some ACI Emerald's for my bedroom, and found a pair of rosewood ELT monitors for a really good price (had to get them since I love the rosewood finish ), so I'm going to get rid of my 2nd pair of cherry ELT525M.

Like the other pair I just sold, these are in excellent, like new condition - no flaws or blemishes at all. I've had them almost 4 weeks now, so I'm nearing the end of my 30-day trial period. And of course, all original packaging/accessories will be included.

Asking $135 + shipping...
