A short while back there was a deal for refurb H10 and H15 units from APC and they were selling for a lot less than $300. I think most folks got their APC fix when that happened. I can't remember, but I thought the H10 was going for 120...maybe less. Your's is BNIB so it should be worth more than a refurb unit...it just may be tough to find anybody who needs one. I'm personally hoping a refurb deal pops up again. If not, I may come looking for you if you still have this one.

Yea I got my H15 when they were on sale at buy.apc.com and thought the sale was over. Unfortunately, I bought the H10 when they were full price (full price for teh lose) and now I have no need for it.

ivseenbetter, go to www.buyuptime.com and get your H15 silver unit that is still on sale. For now I will just hold on to this, as I can't recoup much of my loss.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for one of those at a good price. I was hoping I hadn't totally missed out. Sorry I couldn't help you with the H10. There might still be somebody out there that is interested. Perhaps Ebay? I was just thinking that the big sale they had on all these units would have been snapped up by the guys around here. There is always new folks that missed out on the deal though. I wouldn't give up on it if you don't have a use for it. Heck, it is a good product and a fair price. I was just commenting in response to your question about the price being too high.

I'm only saying this because you said to lock the thread, so I'm assuming that you're not looking to sell it here right now. You can get new H10s on Amazon for under $300, so if you go the eBay route, I'd suggest dropping the price just a bit to be competitive.

The ones that APC were selling were overstock units, not refurbs... I got a H15 shipped for $154. Still haven't gotten around to getting in put in yet, but it looks and feels very solid.

What's the difference between the H type APC's and all the other types? I see S type, J type etc etc.

I'd buy your unit if it was black in color... it would be the only silver item in my whole rack, unfortunately. I wanted it too.

S and J have battery backup (UPS), H type is just voltage regulation and power conditioning.

S is pure-sine wave, J is stepped-sine wave which is why there is a cost difference. APC themselves do not recommend the J type for most home theater gear.

Unit arrived today but was apparently damaged. It does seem to work however there is clearly something rattling around inside. I sent you a PM about making a claim with UPS to have it replaced.
