Not sure how much advertising, if any, this has gotten in the states but I just finished watching it and it's not a bad flick at all. It's a suspense film and yeah it's not the best acting in the world but I feel it makes for a nice rental.

I guess it caught me by surprise as I wasn't expecting much at all.

Everytime I ride a lift I think of how it would suck if it broke down or stopped while in midair. I'd jump or use clothing as a rope. I'd rather have broken legs than be a popsicle.

Good movie about being stranded = Walkabout. It is a 1971 movie so a bit dated, but it is available on Criterion BD and was a very decent flick.

As Matt said, the movie was pretty good. Better than I expected. Definitely worth a rent to get ready for the winter season. Warm up to nice cup hot cocoa, slip under your Snuggie and enjoy.
