Hi everyone,
I have been reading the forum for around a month and really learning a lot from you guys.
I'm in the need for a little advise for some changes to my ht setup. I have a HK avr235, two Bose 201 front speakers and the Kef KHT1005 set of 5 speakers and sub, using the 5 speakers as center, surrounds and back surrounds.
The thing is, I am not really happy with the Boses (I know, I know...) and am looking for a replacement. They should be quite small (WAF... and besides they are in a small room) and cost no more than $300.
I have been looking at the Axiom M2i and M3ti, the Polks RTi4 and Monitor 40, but am not sure which way to go or if I am missing some other option.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

Another good option would be a pair of Bic DV62SIB bookshelves. They're a great deal and have pretty good bass resposne. If you're looking to be thrifty, then I think they're worth a try. The best price I can find is currently at X-10. However, sometimes Ubid has a better price, but their stock is on and off. If you check around the forum, you'll find their highly acclaimed speakers. That said, Axiom is another good option.

For $310 you can get the BIC V1220 sub and the DV62si's. They really sound great together.

Killer deal if you want a sub with a 12" woofer (if you're not satisfied with the KEF sub). The DV62's have a 6.5" woofer compared to the other's which are 5.25". Big difference if you're using them for fronts.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll check those alternatives.
Has anyone auditioned the Axioms M2i and M3ti or the Kef QCompacts? I think I am leaning towards one of those.
