Front Speaker Recomendations

Hi Everyone,

I'm somewhat new to the fourm.

I am looking to buy some new fronts. I plan to use them for both music (60%) and movies (40%). I plan to drive the speakers with an Yamaha RX-Z7.

The dimensions of my living room, which is where I plan to place the speakers is 15x25. I have a carpeted floor (on top of concrete) and a concrete ceiling.

So, I've been doing a lot of research and I thought the reviews of the Salk Song Tower QWT and the Def Tech Mythos STS were very good. What are your thoughts on those and do any of you have any better suggestions. My price point for the pair is around 3,000 - 3,500. I recently purchased a pair of Def Tech Mythos2 as my surrounds. My center channel and sub will be replaced at a later point.

The look of the speaker is important. Most of my furniture is modern / contemporary and I would like them to some what flow with the decor.

I listen to mostly hip-hip, R&B, house and techno.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

High end of your range, but they are just plain tasty. May not entirely deliver in the looks department, but when you hear them... Or even 3 of the Cinergy 6.1xl LCRs and a great sub for one heck of a system.
