front speaker placement advice

I'm curious to know how high the tweeters can be from the center tweeters.

In my experiments I notice a slight improvement in the highs when I raise the front speaker tweeters slightly higher than the center speaker tweeter.

Is it better to keep all three front and center tweeters in line with eachother rather than placeing the front speaker tweeter slightly higher than center channel tweeter

FYI my speaker are placed exactly 8 feet from my ears and 8 feet apart.

instead of matching the height of the left and right with the center ...

it should be in this order:
match the left and right tweeters to the height of your ears ...
then match the center tweeter as close as possible to the left and right tweeters. (I think a difference of up to 2 feet is ok)
