Front Speaker 5" Height Difference

Please I need help, &nbsp;I have a sunken living room, which for the placement of my front speakers is not ideal. The top of the front right side (RS) speakers are 5-inches higher than the top of the left side (LS) speakers.

Is it critical the speakers are at the same height? What are your suggestion (s) ?

I want to add a block to raise the LS speaker to the same height but I am afraid it will not look too good. The speakers are Sony SS-M7 with stands.

<font color='#000000'>Some stands have spikes that are actually bolts, so why not get a couple of two by four and bolt them to the stands.
