Hi,

I just got my Marantz 4002 and I am quite happy with it. However I have one problem with it I haven't been able to solve:
I'm trying to connect an toslink (optical audio) to the front panel connector (labeled aux1), but no matter what I do, I get no sound.
The two toslinks in the back work fine.
I have disconnected the toslinks in the back and only connected the one in the front, no change.
I have tried setting aux1 in input to digital 1,2,3,4; no sound with any.

What am I doing wrong? How can I make the receiver detect my optical audio?

Thank you for any help.

JB

Edit: If I hook up an analog signal and I set the input to analog, the analog sound plays fine.

Edit 2: Nevermind. solved it, in iput it has to be set to F.

thanks anyway
