Need some advice, planning to upgrade my home theater to 7.1 speaker set up. I have Wharfdale 10dfs for the surround, I would like to ask if I can add in-ceiling for the surround back. I'm afraid that children would hit the speakers if I'll put bookshelves for the surround back.

Why not another set of the Wharfdale dsf if they are working ok for surrounds?

Just curious, where will i position the 2nd dfs? and I have read that if I'm going to use the 2nd dfs for the surround back, I should switch the position of the left dfs to the right and vice versa. To prevent cancelation?

I am just a noob but that sounds ridiculous. The position of the speakers should be outlined in the manual for your receiver(or any other online FAQ).

If I grasp the concept of those last two speakers, they are to be placed fairly high on the back wall, a few feet behind the seating area, and facing forward.
