Hi,

Has anybody has/auditioned Fritz Carbon 7's? I am particularly interested in a comparison with the Salk Songtowers. I have narrowed down my options to these two and trying to make a decision... (Will be used primarily for music, especially classical music). Comments are welcome!

Anybody has heard them?
Nope, but Id like to see some independent 3rd party measurements before I took their specs to heart. Which Salks were you comparing them to, cause the song towers should play lower and have a very good rep?

I was comparing them to the Songtowers. They are about the same price range. (ST a little more expensive)

On a different forum, there are multiple guys who love these speakers. They say for the price there is non-better. I have not heard them though.

Best Regards,

There's a guy on the Polk forum, steveinaz, that just received his Fritz Carbon 7s. He was looking at Songtowers first, but went with these monitors based on a recommendation from another member (Zero) who had done a professional (IIRC) review of the Salks and thought the Carbon 7s would fit Steve's taste better. I'm too lazy to link it for you ;). He's going to do an informal review after he's had them for awhile. They look like sturdy (and heavy) books to me.

His review is up if you want to go over to Polk forum.. He seems to really like them.
