Fritz Carbon 7

Hi,

Has anybody has/auditioned Fritz Carbon 7's? I am particularly interested in a comparison with the Salk Songtowers. I have narrowed down my options to these two and trying to make a decision... (Will be used primarily for music, especially classical music). Comments are welcome!

Nope, but Id like to see some independent 3rd party measurements before I took their specs to heart. Which Salks were you comparing them to, cause the song towers should play lower and have a very good rep?

I was comparing them to the Songtowers. They are about the same price range. (ST a little more expensive)

On a different forum, there are multiple guys who love these speakers. They say for the price there is non-better. I have not heard them though.

There's a guy on the Polk forum, steveinaz, that just received his Fritz Carbon 7s. He was looking at Songtowers first, but went with these monitors based on a recommendation from another member (Zero) who had done a professional (IIRC) review of the Salks and thought the Carbon 7s would fit Steve's taste better. I'm too lazy to link it for you . He's going to do an informal review after he's had them for awhile. They look like sturdy (and heavy) books to me.
