FREE ISF Calibration When You Buy Brillian HDTVs

Brillian today announced that all of its 720p and 1080p HDTVs will now come with a free ISF calibration included. You heard us correctly. This means that an ISF-certified calibration expert will come to your home, post-purchase, and calibrate the TV for use in your viewing room. We spoke briefly with Rainer Kuhn, Brillian vice president of Sales and Product Marketing who informed us that the ISF calibration includes two inputs (customers can also pay to have additional inputs calibrated by the assigned technician.) The big questions is: will consumers appreciate the difference ISF calibration makes in their set? We certainly hope they will, as it's definitely worth a small premium to obtain more accurate color and performance.

I paod to have this done and it was so worth the money... My guy charged me $349. He spent over 7 hours in front of my TV doing all of this.
You can really see the difference in darker movies, like Batman Begins... Oh, and my cable looks better too

I agree.

ISF calibration is worth the time and the money to have done. I was really amazed at how much better the picture looked after my Mits was calibrated. I though I had done a pretty good job with the DVE DVD and was very skeptal at first, but the calibrator made a believer out of me pretty quickly.

It is to bad the industry cannot just get together and agree that the color guns are as accurate out of the box as possible based on current standards.
