Current issue, July/August, page 26, "My Phone was Cloned" is a must read by all.
No need to be near a cell phone, just buy info online and be able to pretend you are someone else, call phone company to transfer the number to crooks' phone and raid their bank accounts.
I was stunned. I called Ting, they don't have the capability to lock your number as you can with credit bureaus linking your credit.
FCC will be mandating this in the near future but in the meantime, look out.
