Framing for a center speaker

I have been looking around in the forum and i haven't found what i am looking for. I haven't decided on a in-wall center speaker yet haven't even really started looking. But i am putting up the drywall and before i do i need to modify my front wall so i don't have a 2x4 right where my center speaker will go. But what i need to know how big should i make the rough opening so that when it comes time to drop a speaker in it will more that likely fit in the space i framed in.

Currently I have 4 Polk Audio RC85I 2 RC80I and a PSW505 sub.

Not all speakers are the same size - you should pick out a center speaker before roughing in the opening.

The center channel speaker probably won't be huge, so you could look online for some of the dimensions, then come up with something a bit larger, just in case you decide on something larger. The standard stud spacing is 16" on center, leaving 14-1/2" between them. I'd make the space 14" high and 24" wide, centered on the main speaker positions.
