so i found these motorized loungers locally. set of three, convertible to single and loveseat. any help identifying ?

also note in the pic the pillow tops can come off for a more contempo look.
as well as what looks like a euro plug?!

They look similar to Berkline's Box Office -45012 or The Apollo-45002.

That is a UK MK plug, so they are likely 240 volt!

Yup that's a BS-1363 UK standard so the chairs are 220V 50Hz.

The voltage may be the least of your worries.

A motor designed for 50Hz may not run well or at all on 60Hz.

this isnt analog like a clock so i doubt very seriously the hz cycles will effect the chairs. most things like this internally convert ac to dc, i also know most can support both.

but there again they maybe dual voltage and may only requirement a new cord or plug adapter. or maybe even a transformer/converter may be needed. we shall see.

Hope they are dual voltage and approved for North American use. If not, and you modify them, pray to God you never have a fire originating from them. Say bye-bye to insurance coverage...

That said, if they are modified correctly, there shouldn't be any problems. I get the impression that you know what you're talking about. They look nice and comfy.:)

Nice stuff, nice room. Is that an Anthem processor, with Rotel amp, with Belkin surge/ups, and Epson projector . . . and what other nice stuff do you have in there? :D
