As some of you might know by now, I've been a headphones fan for a long time. And while I have tried several models, there is one I'm interested in. I'm talking about the TH500RP from Fostex.

This model combines what they call RP (Regular Phase) diaphragm with the design philosophy and flair of their already famous TH900. This technology consists of etched copper foil on the surface with high heat resistant polyimide film as the base material. The TH500RP features a punched metal which was used for the housing.

But what about comfort?
The high quality soft leather ear pad ensures a comfortable listening experience even in prolonged use.

The connecting cable is made of "HiFC" which has very good conductivity and the gold plated plug features the "Fostex" logo as a nice touch. The package includes a quality leather texture pouch for protection during transportation. It is important to note that while this is not a cheap model, it has been put to the test against much expensive models by many knowledgeable people and the results have been very surprising. I guess I'll have to "take a number" and wait for my turn. Take a look at the following features and specification. Don't forget to let me know what you think!

I am a headphone fan too. But I know too little what to look for and features. The main things I feel important and look for is comfort, clarity of sound and ease of use. I have been using sennheiser rs 180 wireless headphones from Bay Bloor Radio in Toronto for long and still they are working perfect. I am planning to gift my cousin bro for his birthday next month, a new headphone which is stylish and up to the generation mark. I think this one of your's is a good choice.
