I haven't heard the TH-X00 yet, but on the reviews I have read it is said that these are possibly best headphones you can get for 500$ and possibly best closed cans for under 1000$. I haven't heard the T50RP so can't say anything about them, but what I know is that they use different drivers and different design.

Massdrop has made all of these cans with removable cables this time, otherwise they should be the same. Price has gone up 20$ tho, but I think these should still be great cans for the price.
