I saw these things over at ubid:

http://www.ubid.com/actn/opn/getpage.asp?AuctionId=800397635

2 15's, 97dB sensitivity, 119lbs each. MY GOD!!!! No WAF however, for those of us married folks.

Old school jamming at it's best. For $600, these things will blow the windows out of your frat house! Sure brings back some memories of the old days, spilling beer all over those giant, carpeted speakers. It's funny, I can't seem to remember if they sounded good or not:confused: I wonder why:D

If I was a college student with $600 and likes to throw parties, I'd jump on these:cool:

Think of what the "chicks" will say..... "Johnny, I love your BIG speakers, can I stay here tonight?"

LOL. Yeah, it's hard to beat those mosters for pure volume. Our swim club had a big blowout this summer. They hired a DJ. He had a set of similar towers (Peavey or Riley??) - pro audio speakers. He had 4 or 5 Crown amps with two 33 band eq's running his system. These two towers filled an area consisting of two olympic sized pools, and probably 4x the amount of grass. You couldn't get near them - you'd blow an eardrum. I wish I would have taken some pictures. This DJ had some cash. Brand new dually 4x4 supercab Ford, new trailer with his company name airbrushed on it, and just an awesome rack of components. 2 laptops with several thousand songs. The power cord out of his trailer looked like a garden hose.
