It's a bit long in the tooth as far as tech goes, but it is still a great player. This player is the one you're looking for if you want perfect upscaling for your DVD's. It would make a nice transport for a music only system as well. Plays DVD'S, DVD-A'S, CD'S, HDCD'S, DTS-CD'S, and SACD'S.
We've had it for five years and it has served us very well, sadly we never used the analog outs on it though instead we used Denon Link.
We're selling it off since it's collecting dust now. We've been streaming to our AVR-4311ci and using our Oppo bdp-93 for videos. Makes me sad each time I reach past it to put a disc in the Oppo.
