Check out the /. article. Telus is canceling customers with unlimited data plans using vague terms of service. Sit back and grab the popcorn. This could be at least as good as 'Verizon Math'.

It's funny, every time we have a jam session and a GSM phone goes off, you can here it beep through the amps before it rings.

I do not have any experience with Bell cellphones but have plenty with their landline service. There landline phones suck (big mistake to buy one from them). Bell also has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It is mind boggling how incomptent they are, they could have monkey's answering the phones which would do a better job. I could go on and on about staticky lines, lines crossed, being billed for other peoples calls and taking months to get it all straighted out, then giving me a hard time when I want to cancel my phone service. It was after this I dumped bell and just went straight cellphone. All the phone companies are rip-offs but atleast the other companies can provide some decent customer service.

Not from what I hear. I get pressured daily to buy a cell phone, generally when I'm hanging out with my buddies. Right after they've finished saying I should get a phone, they start *****ing about their cell phones, for half an hour. I can put 2 and 2 together, and it spells everyone that owns a cell phone, has nothing good to say about it.

I am not one for phones and or talking on the phone,. It is used for emergencies and very brief 1-3 minute conversations. I do not text or any of that other stuff.

Canada is virtually a third world country when it comes to the cellular market. Data cost is high, choice of providers is low, bandwidth is limited. It's no wonder Canada's adoption rate to the technology is extremely low by worldwide standards.
