Oh woe is me. My Oregon Ducks have been climbing in the polls like Jack in the Beanstalk. They're 7-1, only losing to USC (with some baaad officiating). And now we've lost our All-American/Heisman Trophy candidate QB, Kellen Clemens with a fractured ankle. His career is over.
So we put in a highly touted soph to run the spread option and 4 plays later he suffered a severe concussion and is doubtful for the next game. We're down to 3rd string QB and a wide receiver who has NEVER taken a snap under center.
