So, lets do something about this.

I'll create a poll for receivers in the $200 - $400 category.

My first recommendations for this poll are:

Harman/Kardon AVR130 (MSRP $399)
Yamaha RX-V457 (MSRP $349)

Perhaps some on the lower end of the category?

What type of pricing?

I saw you posted the MSRP's but there are some seriously good deals on say Ubid that would knock a receiver in to the top of a much lower priced category.

Example:

Onkyo 502
MSRP: $300.00
UBID: $119.00

I wouldn't buy this receiver for $300 but it is a great buy at $119.

Maybe one from each major brand in each price range?

If you guys want a stereo receiver reccomendation for the <$350 price point, I would like to nominate the Yamaha RX-496. Great receiver, it's only weakness is lack of a subwoofer output, but with how nice it is, it's forgivable.
