I think these look cool... powered desktop speaker... 4" midbass with stated -3db response down to 50hz... of course to get low, you gotta trade loud.. Max SPL is only stated @ 96db (no frequency given), though if that's a 1m rating, then at 2ft it'd be closer to 100db spl.

And 20 watts, can be enough for a desktop - they look interesting.

I typically listen at 65 to 75 so 96 will give me enough headroom.:D I am skeptical about the 50 hz -3 db response though.

The mid driver is probably about 77db sensitive in free space. Given that it's designed for use on a desk, it's very close to 2pi space, that puts sensitivity at ~83db. Add 20w and you get a 96db max SPL @ 1m. So I believe it. Like I said, they traded loud for low. Can't get both with a 4" woofer.
