focal vs. nola

Has anyone had the opportunity to audition the Focal 1027be against the Nola Viper IIs. I've heard both, but same old story, two different hifi shops, different amps, etc. I like both but I'd really like to hear them side by side. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

FYI, I heard the Viper Reference with only about 10 hours on them. They sound pretty nice, but it I don't know if they're worth the $12k list price.

At that budget I would look into Tyler Accoustics which is an internet only dealer...Ty (owner) is a great guy to talk to, will hand deliver if the distance isnt crazy and offers a money back demo period, his speakers are really special. Another favorite of mine is Vandersteen Audio, Richard Vandersteen is another great owner to talk to.
I feel your pain with demo of speakers, it is tough to make a choice when speakers are across town and cant be stacked up side to side for a demo, but in reality even a demo cant tell you how they will sound in your room with your gear. Let me know if I can offer any help.............cheers
