How good are these speakers? I am interested in them, just not sure how good they are on when people are speaking. Also, what receiver would be good to pair with these speakers.

Hey alphasig,

The sub doesn't look very, according to its specs. The satellites are probably great for satellites (as opposed to typical plastic HTIB satellites), but I think there are better bargains to be found. As far as what receiver, any would work. Just find one with the features you like.

If you're still shopping for a receiver, how come you abandoned this thread? Or the other threads (1, 2) you started for speakers? What are your hesitations about the suggestions posed to you thusfar?

I thought AH did a review of these, but couldn't find it. May have been someone else, but I recall it being pretty positive on the cheap.
