Focal Chorus 814v, yes or no?

SVS=awesome. I LOVE the PB13 Ultra. I can use it as a screwdriver. It will unscrew everything in the house. In a good way.

Because it says "Made in France" on the back of my Focal Chorus speakers.

A Focal rep told me all of the Focal speakers are made in the same factory in France.

OK, good to hear. The reason I asked is because on the Focal web site, the info on the 800W models specifically state "100% Made in France", whereas the info on the 800V and 700V series does not claim this. Not sure what that means, as there is other info on the site that seems to say all of them are made in France.

Im starting to thing that we must be paying too much for some of the speakers available.

Well, if you were paying the MSRP of $1800 for the 814's, you certainly would be.
On any given day, ID products beat B&M products, but when you can find the right B&M product with a great discount, it is hard to beat.
It is a shame we are losing Vanns, but of the two Accessories4less is the one I'd rather stay. It'll be interesting to see if A4L picks up some of the companies Vanns used to carry.

Yeah, if people pay full msrp, ID would be the better deal.

But it's hard to beat B&M when people can buy at 40-60% off MSRP.

Perhaps one day A4L will also carry Revel, B&W, Dynaudio, PSB, Paradigm, RBH, and TAD.

Oh, you're right. We assumed free shipping because it is usually free. But when you type in your state and zip, get get a FedEx shipping rate like $50.

I would just give them a call and say "I will buy right now if you give me free shipping!"

Usually works for me.
