Well it came down to Polk ES60, reserve R500 and Klipsch RP-5000F II's. I would have pulled the trigger on the RP-8000's if they weren't so big. I ran across these Focal Chora 816 and pulled the trigger on them. It was the size I was looking for and they got decent reviews. I would have got the 826 but they are out of stock for the foreseeable future. The 816 should be good since I have a large SVS sub.
Choosing speakers was time consuming and it would be nice to be able to test out all these models live. But that's unfortunately not practical in todays world with the lack of Hi Fi showrooms.
