Guys, what do u think is better to use, fish eye or a remote that will send a signal threw walls?
Thanks
In 10+ years I've never heard the term 'fish eye'.
Remotes are either IR or RF, and almost everything you buy will be IR.
To control IR devices (infrared), you need something which outputs IR. To get through walls you need EITHER: A IR repeater system, which could be that 'fish eye' you were talking about, but it is a IR repeater. That catches the IR signal you send towards it and then repeats it at another location. It works well, but it must be wired between the two locations (receiver/emitters).
The better solution is typically to use a RF remote. A RF remote takes the IR signal and converts it to RF. Then sends it via radio frequency (RF) to a receiver behind the wall. The receiver converts the RF back to IR and uses IR emitters on the equipment to repeat the buttons which you press. It is very reliable once it is set up.
Harmony remotes and URC (universal remote control) brands are excellent choices.
