First venture into separates

<font color='#000000'>A integrated amp is like a receiver without the tuner capablity (radio). By not having a tuner housed in the same chassis, a manufacturer can spend/fit more putting bigger transformers and better wiring and things like that. Integrateds are a great way to go if you don't have a lot to spend, and you can still get a separate tuner later. Some even think they're better than true separates because there's less in the signal path, no cables between units and stuff like that. However, separates offer more flexibility in that you can use different brands, multiple amps and upgrade more easily. I would only purchase separates if I had lots to spend on something decent.</font>

<font color='#000000'>2-Channel Integrated amps do not have the .1 sub output. I had mentioned this option to you before you said you needed 2-channel and a sub!

<font color='#000000'>You can hook up a powered sub to any integrated amp that has pre-out sockets on the back.</font>
