That system won't sound like garbage and should sound good with movies. I hope the price is good though, quite often you can bargain the price down even when things are on sale but that only happens in Futureshop, not Bestbuy. For serious high quality music there are certainly better ways to do it, so it all depends on your needs/preference.

Just listen to them and compare them with other speakers at other stores.

IMO, Klipsch speakers don't measure very accurately, but they can still sound very good.

If you hang around forums, you won't see as many praises and recommendation for Klipsch as you will see for Revel, KEF, Focal, B&W, Salk, Ascend, NHT, etc.

But in terms of sound quality, trust your ears when you COMPARE the Klipsch to other speakers. They may sound just as good or better.

I have that receiver, 2 - rf 82 II, 1 RC 62 II, and 2 rs-42 II. I haven't connected the surrounds, yet, but I've had the fronts and center connected for about six weeks and I'm very happy with the setup.

I'm sure they aren't the best speakers available, but I'm satisfied with them and what I paid for them.

My sub is a HSU Research sub.

Two sw-115s will make for some pretty bangin bass, so I think he steered you correctly there. It looks like you bought two systems though, with two tower speakers and two center speakers. You did buy two systems, right?

I thought he bought 2 RF-52 but only 1 RC-52 (centre).

The subs seem to be the weak link, how do they sound to you anyway?

On paper, the sw-115s actually look pretty beefy, certainly more powerful than most subs from B&M brands. I would guess that two would be a formidable system.
