Nice! Thanks for the pics.

That 54" G10 is sweet. I have the 50" version and love it..but I wouldn't mind having that larger screen!

Imho

"much ado about nothing"

Surround sound is severly overated IMHO

Priority

1rst - Fronts
2nd - Center ( epecially if youwatch TV or Movies) -for vocal
3rd - Subwoofer - for the low frequncies espcially gunshots, explosions, and dinosaurs walking

4th - surrounds - they enhance and add a little bit of 3 dimension on stage presence.

Spend as follows

Fronts -almost 1/2 $$

Center - match fronts for timbre ( seamless sound) 1/5 $ you can go with a phantom center with good fronts, especailly if you primary listening is music only.

Subwoofer - almost 1/5 $

Surrounds -whatever is left 1/10 $$

Against just my opinion your thoughts and others may be different! Some say to make all speakers the same except sub, if you have the bucks $$$ and that sounds very good also it just costs a lot more for that ssymptotic level of sound improvement -- but hey, who says audioholics are practical

Yep nice and clean. Room looks a little live with all the hard surfaces. Get a nice rug and put a few strategic treatments on the wall, and you will be all set.

Nice set up. Kudos from a fellow XPA-5 owner.:) It does seem like the room may be a tad on the bright side with the hard floor and walls.

I'm trying to understand the purpose of this post, and the reason for it.

mesojdm, you have a very nice system. What are you impressions of the Bostons?

thanks guys..
Ya im going to move the tv down to match the center a little better. The thing is too heavy to lift by myself, Ill have to wait for help. HAHA . So far love the bostons. I really need some acoustic treatment..I can hear a hint of echoing. The dual mfws are WOW>.. all i can say is HEADROOM. They arent even trying and the freq's get so low.
Sheep- Ive had a few cars evo, sti, sr20det datsun 510(may feature in turbo mag), but as of now just a 350z and a street bike. :)

Very nice setup.:D Kind of cool that the MFWs are almost exactly the same height as the stand.

Only minor comments I might make would be to pull the center forward some and at least angle the mains slightly in so they don't reflect directly off the side walls. Bring them forward to be at least flush or slightly forward from everything in between. Get a rug, that will help as your first, least expensive and probably simplest treatment.
