An .iso is a disc image.

Where did you get this ISO, what's on it, and what are you trying to accomplish with it?

Ignoring the method with which you obtained the file, Roxio will burn an ISO just fine.

I'm not sure *exactly* what you click with that version, but generally you want the menu option that says "Record CD from CD Image" or "Burn disc from image" or something to that effect.

I'd be willing to bet that copyright does indeed exist in modern-day Italy, and that download Pink Floyd DVDs from random people on the internet via P2P is illegal there ;)

Good luck nonetheless.

I apologize, but I think I did help you.

You need to use the "Burn Disc Image" or "Record CD from Image" menu option. You must then select the ISO file you have downloaded. Roxio will then burn the disc.

I'm not really sure, but I don't think the staff of Audioholics really wants people discussing their illegal music downloading activities. I don't generally see people on the site boasting about how much music they've downloaded, so I don't know what gave you the impression that other people here do that.

Does that mean 5 terabytes? That is an obscene amount of pilfered data.

5 TB is over 71,000 average CDs or over 1000 average DVDs.

Wow.

Does someone pay you to archive the entire catalog of pirated content available on the internet?

I have 525 or so CDs, all of which I bought and paid for over a long period of time. I cannot fathom downloading hundreds of gigabytes or terabytes of copyrighted material for free. But that's just me (although I think I am in fairly good company).

While I believe that we should have the right to do anything we want with music and/or video that we have rightfully acquired I do not condone downloading copyrighted material that is not willfully provided for free by the rightful owners and therefore I have never and will never make any of my collection available to others to download for free.

Have you heard of copyright infringement? I don't think Allison Krauss authorized that "free" sharing. ...We'll see. :)

Music is not free to trade.

Even in Italy there are copyright laws. I'm not interested in arguing with you about it, but I will inform you.

What you are doing is illegal. You are creating unauthorized copies of copyrighted works.

Here is an interesting article:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/05/20/italy_p2p_law/

"Italy has made transferring content via the Internet without the permission of the copyright holder a criminal offence

The Italian parliament yesterday voted in favour of imposing jail sentences of up to three years on anyone caught uploading or downloading unauthorised copyright material to and from the Net."
