it's my first post here after falling in love with the site so cheers to all.
So i was at fry's last night and found a pair of shelf model last in stock KEF C1 speakers. The manager offered to give them to me for $100 for the pair so i bit.
I need to mention that one of the speakers is missing it's grill cover. So I will either have to find one online or just remove the other ones and have them open face.
SO here is my problem. I originally wanted to get the Energy VS SURROUND bipole/dipole speakers since i'm a sucker for the discontinued prices. I have the center of that old set and i love it. From the aluminum cone to the Kevlar driver.
Which would you guys go for? KEF c1's bought at $50 each or the Energy.
Room is 14.5x19
Primus C362 towers, Energy RC-LCR center, PL-200 sub.
speakers will be mounted in corners, 19' part of room so they need to go a ways to my ears
