Product Name: RCX-1500 Internet, FM, DAB, CD, 2 x 100w receiver

Manufacturer: Rotel

MSRP: $1500

First Impression: Pretty Cool

Overview:

Rotel is now offering an all in one solution that seems to offer virtually everything you would need to run a stereo rig with modern source material ranging from CDs, iPods, MP3s, and Internet Radio. It also packs a Class D amplifier that is rated to deliver 100 watts per channel @ 8 ohms and is stable with a 4 ohm load. Unlike many lesser all in one solutions that use switching power supplies the Rotel RCX-1500 utilizes a toroidal transformer feeding it's analog power supply. The unit also has an analog input as well as a coaxial and optical digital input for connection to other sources. A pair of preamplifier outputs allow for convenient connection to an outboard amplifier.

Nice looking product.....

I still wonder why these manufacturers still to this day don't include a sub out, and allow a xover for such....

One could use the preouts for that.
