First Home Theater System

Hi Forum members,
i'm building a home theater system for primarily for playing games,movies and then music in that order , my budget is ~2000 dollars. Location is India. A few have recommended Polk Audio, with a Denon receiver. The area I am planning to setup is the living room, it has slanting roof (if that helps in acoustics). I am planning for a 5.1.4 system with future upgrade possible. What i've have found is that I need a atmos enabled speakers for this 5.1.4 setup. What are your recommendations. Thanks.

Upfireing atmos speakers wont work with a slanting roof. So it will be wall or ceiling mounted speakers. Remember atmos is about angles to the main listening position so check those out.

Which way does it slant? Front/rear or side to side? DE speakers are can take a LOT of fuss work to be effective and slanted ceilings just make it harder. Any particular reason to go that way? Pics?

Its my home's upper story. I am planning a main area for watching football games, or hanging out with friends, the blue table will be re purposed to a bar table.
