First DIY Project

I would like to build a small set of bookshelf speakers that will hopefully replace the ones I have on my desk.

Here are the drivers I am looking at right now:

Midwoofer

Tweeter

The woofer spec sheet recommends an 8L box (0.283ft^3).

Will these drivers work ok together or should I try something different?

thanks vilbig, those little bookshelves look perfect

i was a bit hesitant to order the tweeters since they are so damn cheap ($8!) but since so many people like them i'll give them a try. not a lot to lose here.

The designer has quite a few highly regarded projects on his web site, and is always willing to help. This particular one has been given rave reviews - most saying a DIY so inexpensive should not sound this good. Good luck and post pics!
