finding a replacement woofer for tower vega

ok so i ordered that woofer from orange county last week and got it today. It is slightly different then the woofer he still has in his other cabinet, for starters it has red foam around the woofer instead of orange, and it has a recessed cone instead of your typical dome cone, other than that the basket and magnet look the same but the stamp on the back of the woofer says 66 4020 his other one says Y 4020 ? We will find out soon enough.

Typically, Cerwin woofer surround foam is pinkish-red. It will turn towards orange as the years pass.

My guess is that "4020" is the model, and the other stamp is a representation of where the driver was manufactured.

Woofer coil dust cover design has become recessed in recent years. This trend started a good while back, and I am not aware of the reason. It's just a sign that the replacement woofer has implemented newer design techniques, and/or improvements.
