I had mentioned to my wife I we needed a new knife set , We have a henckels set we got as a wedding gift. So for xmass she bought me a new set {or us, since she does most of the cooking}...
They are made by ergo chef? They seem to be made really well, the steak knives are sick.. It took me forever to open them, since they were all individually packaged in their own retail boxes, so I guess its not like a set...

So there is like 27 peices and a lot of boxes, I am surprised everything fits perfectly in the 2 blocks {except 4 steak knives which we will keep in our dining room hutch, our dining room table seats 12 so I guees she figured we needed at least that lol}, I was doubtfull, but she said she talked to the guy that owns ergochef and he told her what to buy and promised every piece would fit and it did.... even the carving set fit {10" knife and fork}...
Anyway its a good looking set and for 27 peices, the guy only charged her $450 shipped, she just wrapped the whole box and didnt open it so the receipt was in the box and he hand wrote "50% discount for the sweet women buying her husband my knives" lol...
But anyway, they look and feel really good, the steak knives were first to get unboxed and I have never seen one like it, looks like something you take to war lol, the blocks have a metal plate on them that says battle station, and the sharpener is really crazy, I dragged it down a couple of my henckels {giving them to one of my girls in the office that just got a new house last year} so I sharpened them up for her and it works really good...
